About me

my name is Orkhan. I’ve been into science and engineering most of my life. Since my childhood I always enjoyed building and fixing things. My interest in figuring out how things work and trying to fix broken devices (sometimes make it even worse) has set a foundation for being where I am now. Today, I’m a PhD student at Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. I did my undergraduate degree on Automation of Manufacturing Processes at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and my masters in European Masters in Embedded System (EMECS) program.

I don’t consider myself as a super skilled person, I just follow wherever my passion leads me. Honestly, most of knowledge and skills that I have do not come from the classroom. University education gave me good direction, but I always end up having to find my own answers. Like great Albert Einstein once said: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school”.

I enjoy being a ‘maker’ and I strongly believe a passionate human can learn new things easily by just doing it. Here I’ll try my best to share my projects and ideas with you. I hope you will enjoy my projects and learn something from them, and even try to do a better version by yourself. If you also have an interesting project idea or interesting builds, don’t hesitate to contribute it to this website and share it with other makers. Because, knowledge expands by sharing it. Good luck!
